I’ve done a few posts about Inglot before, (you can read all about their roadshows here, their intermediate makeup course here, and their summer palette here!) so I thought I’d do a quick spotlight post on a few of their bits I’ve been using lately. I’ve loved every product I’ve tried by Inglot. Actually – no, bar just the one! So I’ll get that out of the way first.
HD Foundation
I read so many good reviews about this, everyone seemed to love it. I was so excited to try it out and then I hated it. Well no that’s a lie I don’t hate it. I love it until I’m wearing it for about 2/3 hours then I hate it on myself,. Not ideal for a foundation. :/ It just really didn’t agree with me at all. My skin can be a bit oily so it literally slid off my face. Although some foundations I’ve tried that are not ideal for oily skin have been a lot better. The parts then that didn’t slide off my face just looked, well, weird looking. I just 100% will not be buying this again.
HD Lip Tints
This is one of my favourite liquid lipsticks of all time. I bought a nude shade (number 17) and then a dark kind of brown shade (think it was number 19, but not 100%). I love a good liquid lipstick, but my lips are always constantly dry so it’s always a struggle. This one felt a bit drying, but only after having worn it for a few hours. Which I can’t complain about at all. It lasts so well and the colour range is amazing.
Sculpting Powders
I think these two sculpting powders are 507 & 511. I’m actually so bad at remembering the numbers! I’ve hit so much pan on the right hand side shade that it upsets me every time I use it. I’ve been using it for contouring almost every single day and I’m obsessed with it. Then I use just the smallest amount of the darker shade to deepen my contour just a tiny bit if I’m going out. These blend amazingly – I need to pick up a new one as soon as because I’m not sure how I’ll contour without it. They’re amazing for eyeshadows too. So worth it.
Eyeshadows
€6. €6 for an absolute divine eyeshadow is crazy. I love love LOVE the Inglot eyeshadows. There are literally so many colours to choose from it sometimes hurts my head. I made up a palette of shadows then I bought the Inglot summer palette and I’m obsessed with all the colours. I love that when you hit the pan on your favourite eyeshadow from an Inglot palette (either pre-made or your own) that you can just replace that eyeshadow. Ideal.
Sparkling Dust
I’m obsessed with this highlighter. I got the 02 sparkling dust ages ago and you’d swear I haven’t used it by looking at it. You could probably be seen from space wearing this and that’s exactly what I love in a highlighter. I won’t go on too much about it because if you haven’t already got it yourself, you can read all about it in ‘Highlighters that are 100% worth a buy‘. 🙂
Lashes
I think it was last year that I picked up the 79S lashes from Inglot. They are HUGE. Because they were so big, I thought they were going to be hard to put on and heavy but they were the complete opposite. They were hard to get use to for the first couple of minutes, but with the actually size of them that’s kind of expected. The band wasn’t too thick, so they were super easy to put on and stayed on so well too. I loved them. Still raging I lost one of them one night! It was the worst thing to figure out the next day, while awfully hungover. To make it ten times worse!
So they’re the few bits that I’ve been using lately. I’m also obsessed with their pressed under eye powder. I’m not sure of the name of it but it’s a small bit illuminated to really brighten up under ze eye balls. It’s AMAZING.
I can’t wait to live near an Inglot so I can pop up and pick up an eyeshadow or two each week.. Or each day.
