I literally can not cope that we’re half way through March already! And I basically have no clothes for it being this close to Summer.. We never get much of a Summer anyway, but I still have no clothes for those few days of Summer that we will get in Ireland. I thought I’d do another River Island ‘Fashion Fix’ just because I’m surrounded by their clothes weekly (I’m working there right now) and I always want everything. So here’s a few of my favourites that are in River Island right now 🙂
Black Sophomore Slogan Cropped Tshirt/Grey Seniors Slogan Cropped Tshirt – €17
I wouldn’t be one to wear crop tops usually, but how cute would these be with high waisted jeans? It’s great that they have short sleeves rather than none at all, they’d be so easy to throw on during the summer with anything high waist.
Khaki 2 in 1 Top – €37
I bought the grey version of this top and it’s so comfortable. There’s a shirt under-lay so the stripes are a completely different material to the rest of the top, perfect for casual days and I love the crew neck!
Khaki Faux Suede Sleeveless Top – €25
Khaki again.. It’s becoming my new black! I think I could be falling in love with faux suede tops, but I think there’s something about them that puts me off but I’m definitely going to have to pick this one up! I love the V neck and that the material is both suede and linen at the sides and back. I think this would be perfect for both day and night wear, so it’s definitely going to be in my wardrobe come pay day. 🙂
Khaki Military Zip Up Shirt – €45
Ok so again with the khaki! I’ve been looking at this shirt since it came in and I am so in love. It’s so soft and light weight, I’ve tried it on and it’s so comfortable. The zip up front is so handy because, well obviously you could wear it either open or closed and make it look different with a few outfits.
Light Blue Denim Zip-Up Shirt – €45
I’ve needed a new denim shirt for SO LONG. So I bought this a couple of weeks ago – it’s the same as the khaki shirt but in denim so after what felt like ages I chose the denim shirt over the khaki. I’ve basically lived in this shirt since I bought it and I know I’m going to get SO much wear out of it. It has a kind of boxy/slouchy fit so it’s perfect to just throw on when you’re going out the door.
Bright Blue Frayed Hem Denim Jacket – €50
A denim jacket should be in everyones wardrobe – I still haven’t managed to add a denim jacket to my wardrobe so this is going to be a necessity. I love this one because it’s short and it has frayed ends. I’m not sure if I’d prefer a denim jacket that’s not this really bright blue, but this one definitely caught my eye.
Khaki Pleated Jumpsuit – €45
This is the last khaki one I swear! But how gorgeous is this pleated jumpsuit *Insert Heart Eye Emoji* It comes in a deep purple too which I also love. Jumpsuits are fab but I can rarely find one that the length actually fits me properly (I’m tiny..) so if I decide to get this I’ll definitely have to get it taken up! I love the criss cross straps at the back and the culotte legs, faaab.
Washed Black Raw Dungaree Shorts – €50
Dungarees seem to be everywhere lately and I’m loving these washed like black short ones. River Island are going mad for frayed hems lately and I think they look fab on these! Really suit the washed out look.
White Embellished Swing Cami – €100
I’m actually dying over this! It reminds me of The Great Gatsby which I LOVE. This dress is Limited Edition from RI. It’s fully embellished (so I’d say it’s super heavy – not for a messy night out! ;)) It has a loose swing fit (Gatsby again!) and the criss cross straps at the back are fab too.
Orange Print Split Back Kimono – €45
I seen this kimono in RI paired with the black dungarees and it looks AMAZING together. Kimonos are great for the summer and I always think they make it look like you made such an effort with your outfit when really there was no effort at all! It has a relaxed fit (again) and wide sleeves with cut out shoulders and a split back. Kimonos are great for dressing up and dressing down as well.
Black Leather-Look Whipstitch Biker Jacket – €80
When do you not need a leather jacket!? I’v had my eye on a fabulous leather jacket in RI for a while now, but then this beauty cam in and it’s half the price – & just as nice! I love the whipstitch detail around the pockets and I’m just obsessed with these kind of collars o leather jackets.
Cream Smart Cape Jacket – €35
I am obsessed with cape jackets! – I’m obsessing over everything really. The cape sleeves along with the relaxed fit make it look so classy. And the best part is when I looked up this jacket first it was €87 – & now it’s €35! Absolute bargain.
Dark Orange Ruched Sleeve Blazer – €75
This blazer comes in a few different colours, but the dark orange I think is gorgeous! The ruched sleeves and collar make it classy but it’s still so simple. It’s fully lined – the dark/burnt orange looks gorgeous against the cream – and I’m just absolutely in love. Can you have too many blazers?
Purple Patchwork Clutch – €33
I’m not a fan of animal print so when I saw this I wasn’t sure if I loved it or hated it. But I’ve decided that I love it! It’s a perfect size for nights out – not too big or too small. I wear a lot of black so it would be perfect to brighten up an al black outfit!
Gold Tassel Loafers – €37
I spotted these a mile away, how could you not! I’m like a magpie when it comes to anything sparkly and I NEED these. I only bought my first pair of loafers a couple of weeks ago (finally) and they’re so comfortable, I didn’t even need to break them in. So these are definitely my next buy! LOVE.
Brown Suede Woven Platform Heels – €80
Again, I fell in love with these when I saw them online! The suede and the woven front go so nicely together and the brown would be perfect for summer. The wood effect platform heel is 11cm high and I’m just in love.
