Highlighters that are 100% worth a buy

I love love love highlighters, who doesn’t? I like to put enough highlighter on to almost be seen from space. I don’t have enough different highlighter (& I probably never will!) because I’m a broke ass student who’s money goes on €3 pints and spice bags. I don’t even know if I’m sorry!

A few highlighters that I really like is Stila ‘Kitten’ (which I don’t actually have but I use to plaster it on myself when I worked in Sam McCauley’s), ‘Lulu’ highlighter in the Blank Canvas Pippa palette (I’ll be putting up a post about that palette this week, spoiler: it’s not all that great!) and the Suva Beauty ‘Hussle’ eyeshadow palette which is gorgeous as a highlighter! You can read all about the Suva Beauty ‘Hussle’ palette here. πŸ™‚

But the three that I always go back to areΒ Cocoa Brown’s Golden Goddess, Inglot Sparkling Dust and Catrice High Glow.

Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Shimmering Dry Body Oil

I may as well bathe myself in this before a night out. I’m sure everyone has tried this already, but it’s one of my favourites so of course I’m going to throw it into this post. I love this basically everywhere – bar my face! I think it goes sort of muddy looking as a highlight along the cheekbones, but a tiny amount of it mixed with foundation is actually lovely, as long as you just use a tiny amount. I think everyone needs a bottle of this. I lash it on along my legs, shoulders and collar bones when I’m going out and the bottle is still basically full. Glowwwwwing. *insert heart eye emoji here*

Inglot Sparkling Dust

I actually adore this highlighter. I bought it in shade 02 last summer and it still seems just as full as when I bought it. I was constantly lashing it on when I bought it first, but now I only use it when I’m going glam with my makeup. I’ve wrote about this before, which you can read here (Golden Goddess is in that post too, but it’s still my fave so here it is again!). It’s about €20 something, but it’s so worth it because it looks gorgeous and lasts forever. I love it as an inner eye highlight too. πŸ™‚

Catrice High Glow

This is another one that I’d say everyone has tried after the fab Rosie Connolly raved about it months ago, seen as it’s basically the same price as a spice bag, I had to try it! At first, I didn’t like it at all, it did nothing for me. It could’ve been because I was so use to wearing the sparkling dust because I absolutely loved it when I seen it on someone else. I kept using it anyway and now I actually love it. For the price that it is, it’s SO good! I wear it as part of my everyday makeup now, well, everyday and it’s fab. It’s stays on well throughout the day too, which is always ideal!I’ve used mine so much that the label has completely worn off (kind of annoying, but anyway!) so I had to rob a fab pic from Pinterest.

So they’re the three highlighters that I’ve been using lately. There’s so many that I want to get my hands on, so hopefully when I’m finished college and get a job in the grown up world I’ll be able to get all the highlighters I want! πŸ˜€
