Beauty products that are worth another buy!

I buy so much makeup because of so many reasons, either it caught my eye, I’ve been wanting it for ages, or from recommendations. I’m such a makeup junkie, but there’s always room for more, particularly beauty products that are always worth another buy.

Although there’s plenty of different brands and products that I love, there’s a few products that I just will not let myself run out of. Below are a few of those beauty products that are worth another buy.

Catrice Camouflage Concealers

Both of these concealers I absolutely love! The cream is great for any spots or blemishes, it has an amazing coverage, but 100% not for using under your eyes! The consistency of it is quite heavy but without feeling too heavy on the skin because it’s nice and creamy. I always use this as an eyeshadow base from the lash line right up to the brow bone before setting it with powder. I have ridiculously vein-y eyelids and this is a perfect base! I think it’s about €4 and it lasts for months.

I cannot live without under eye concealer, and this is the cheapest under eye concealer I have found that is just amazing for the price. It really brightens up under your eyes with out creasing or just fading away throughout the day. It feels nice and light too and looks perfect when set with a powder. Just like the cream, the liquid has amazing coverage too. I have gone through so many of these! Both shade 01 & 02 for under the eyes, nose, forehead and anyone else I like to plaster in a highlight! I think the liquid is around €4 too, both well worth a try. I like to use these for every day makeup because it won’t cost a fortune when I run out and they’re not too heavy for every day wear. I actually wrote a post on this concealer around this time last year, and I still love it just as much! You can read that post here.

L.A Girl Cosmetics HD Concealers

I literally have about six of these in my makeup bag right now, I’m OBSESSED. Because they’re high definition concealers, they come out amazing in photos. High definition concealers are usually a lot more expensive too, these are only €6.80 on TRND Beauty and are worth every little penny.

I use the between the three lightest shades for under my eyes, which are ‘Porcelain’, ‘Light Ivory’ and ‘Classic Ivory’ and they are 100% my favourite under eye concealer. A little goes such a long way with these because they’re so pigmented and the coverage is amazing.

The orange one I’ve only tried once for under my eyes, the idea is to completely cover any dark circles with the orange shade although I haven’t given it a proper go yet.

I’ve also tried a darker shade, ‘Toast’, for contouring and I love it. Only the tiniest amount is needed and because the consistency is so smooth they’re so easy to blend.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I actually could not live without this setting spray, it’s one of my absolute favourite products ever. I bought the larger bottle over a year ago and I still have so much left. The bottle advises two-three sprays all over the face but how can you go wrong with about 15 sprays ha! Everyone has either tried this or knows about it by know, it keeps your makeup perfect all day and is so worth the money! I’ve tried a couple of other setting sprays but they came nowhere near this one!

Essence Nail Strengthener

I fell so in love with this a couple of years ago! I spoke my about it in a post I wrote last year, ‘How to: Grow long & strong nails’  and this is one of the things I swear by when it comes to keeping your nails strong. Before I tried this, I used a Sally Hansen nail strengthener but I think this one is just as good, if not better, for about a quarter of the price.

But I think in the last month or so it’s been discontinued! I literally can’t find it anywhere. I picked up another Essence strengthener which is meant to give the same result, so hopefully it’s just as good!

Sally Hansen Nail Polish Remover

This is another product I talked about in the post about how I grew my nails, (you can read that one here). I always buy the Sally Hansen nail polish removers with strengthening ingredients in them I think they really help your nails to stay strong. I used the Cutex remover a couple of times after I first tried the Sally Hansen one and my nails weren’t half as strong! It removes nail polish in no time too.

SOSU Nail Polishes

More nail products! Can you tell I enjoy my nails ha! Firstly I have to say, I’m not the biggest So Sue Me fan, but I do love her products! I found that the SOSU nail polishes are one of very few nail polishes that don’t chip after just a day or two. Usually, no matter what I do my nail polish chips so easily but I can have this nail polish on for almost a week with no chipping. I think they’re around the €8/€9 mark but I think they’re so worth it, such a nice range of colours too. If you have a scroll through my Instagram  you’ll see that the majority of my nail posts are SOSU nail polish colours.

L’Oreal True Match Foundation

I’m a bit of a foundation snob, I love a good budget buy but I find when it comes to foundation that if I don’t pay that bit more than it either doesn’t look right on my skin, it doesn’t last on my skin or else it gives me the worst breakouts. But this is the only budget foundation that I found to be absolutely brilliant and it doesn’t give me any problems. I think it’s around the €15 mark, but it’s usually on offer too. It has a nice coverage for during the day with out being too heavy on the skin and stays perfectly with a slightly dewy finish. Perffffff.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara

I’ve always loved this mascara, it makes lashes so long and it’s so black! It doesn’t smudge or flake and lasts perfectly all day. The one thing I don’t like about it is how hard it is to take off, it’s like it literally latches on for dear life. Benefit have their own remover for their ‘They’re Real’ mascara and liner which I tried and didn’t like at all, the consistency of it is awful and it doesn’t even remove all of the mascara. Other than the absolute effort of removing this mascara, everything else I love!

Nivea Eye Makeup Remover

I have really sensitive eyes and I love this eye makeup remover! It’s removes eye makeup so quickly and easily (and it takes a good stab at removing the ‘They’re Real’ mascara, better than the ‘They’re Real’ remover in my opinion and way cheaper!) it’s brilliant for taking off Inglot’s no.77 gel liner too, which is always a tough job! It’s so good for the price, it’s less than €5 so you can’t go wrong with it really!

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan in Dark

Beauty products that are worth another buy! on beautitude.ie

I’m such a tan addict, I literally always have a full body tan. I have so many favourite tans, but I’ll always go back to Cocoa Brown’s 1 hour mousse in dark, it’s ALWAYS in my tanning drawer. I usually leave it on for eight hours (I’m not a one hour, light tan kind of gal!) and then rinse it off, sometimes I’ll do another layer and then rinse this off – I like to be v. dark 😀 Cocoa Brown are releasing an EXTRA DARK version of this too this February so obviously I’m so excited to get my hands on it!

Bellamianta Dark Rapid Mousse

I tried this tan a few months ago and it quickly made its way into my favourite tans! I use it the same way as Cocoa Brown, it’s even gorgeous before it’s rinsed off. The only thing I can fault about it, if I’m being picky is that I can’t leave the bottle in the drawer with the rest of the tan I have because it leaks. I’m on my third/fourth bottle now and it’s been the same with each bottle so I have to keep the bottles upright, definitely not travel friendly! But other than that I love, love, LOVE it.

Bellamianta Tanning Glove & Exfoliating Glove

Bellamianta again! I’ve gone through so many tanning gloves at this stage, and the Bellamianta one is 100% my favourite. I have three at the moment and I only use those. They’re double the price of a normal tanning glove (€10 and usually I think tanning gloves are around €5) but they’re so, so worth it.

Because I always have a full body day I need to exfoliate any old tan off a couple of times a week so I can start again. I use to just use normal exfoliating gloves from Penneys or wherever and I thought they were grand. But then I saw the Bellamianta exfoliating glove which is €10, where I would usually pay €1.50 for two exfoliating gloves I think it was, so I decided to give this one a go. I was literally so surprised at how good this glove is. I didn’t think there would be much of a difference, but this literally cuts my exfoliating time in half! It’s so much quicker and still not too rough on the skin. I’m on my second one now and I will definitely not be straying away!

Soap & Glory Righteous Butter

I’ve been using this body moisturiser for a few years now and I love it. It’s so thick and creamy and smells AMAZING. I always use it for any rough areas when I’m tanning and if my skin is feeling really dry. This is always in my bathroom, my fave!

So there’s a few of the products I always go back to! Has anyone tried any of these and agree with me? 🙂
