8 Of The Best Beauty Products Under €50

Recently I’ve written about my favourite beauty products under €10, under €20, and now that I’m going for under €50, it’s getting a whole lot easier. I love a good budget buy, but I’m also a big fan of treating myself, whether it’s food, drink, clothes or makeup: I just love buying things. So, here are some of my all-time favourite beauty products under €50.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

I started using this fairly recently, and even on the first day, I absolutely fell in love with it. I’m an oily faced gal, so this matte, oil-free foundation is like a godsend. The coverage is top-notch, without feeling too heavy on the skin. It doesn’t crack or crease throughout the day and stays out so you don’t end up looking patchy by the time 5pm rolls around. I use the shade ‘Vanilla’ with a tan, and it couldn’t suit better. It’s not available until September 28th in Boots and Arnotts. But on the Too Faced site, it comes in at $40, which I think is around the €33 mark? Not bad for a fantastic foundation.

Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream

For SO long, I was never a fan of blush, I think my overuse of it in my teen years turned me off. But in the past year or so, I’ve been enjoying it more and more. And now, the cream blush from Fenty Beauty has made me fall in love. A little goes a long way with this because it’s super pigmented. I dab a little on with a beauty blender, and it just looks absolutely gorge and lasts perfectly all day long. Because it’s a cream formula, it just sits on the skin lovely, and has a gorgeous finish to it. I got the shade Petal Poppin, which looks like an awful bright pink, but it’s stunning on. The blush itself looks tiny for €22, but it packs a punch and is 100% worth it.

Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows

Another Fenty product, but you know when you try out a new eyeshadow palette and it just hits different? Yep, that’s how I felt with the Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows. I got the Peach palette, which has three matte shadows and three shimmer shades, all in peachy tones. The pigment is insane, and each shadow blends like a dream, it’s almost like it does the work for you. The shimmer shades are divine, there’s no ridiculous fall out (the worst) and you can literally swipe ‘em on with your finger and you’re sorted. For €25, it’s basically a steal.

Skingredients Skin Shield SPF 50

I’m a big fan of the Skingredients range anyway, and this is the very first product I’ve tried from the range. Although I have oily skin, this dewy finish SPF still looks and feels amazing on. It’s the one I reach for if I’m not wearing makeup, or looking for a more illuminated finish. Mainly because it has a peachy, glowy tint – so there’s zero white cast and leaves your skin looking fab. As well as that, it’s packed with vitamins and protects against pollution and that blue light from screens. Honestly, a little wonder product for €42. I’ve a little affiliate link for it here, if you want to give it a go.

Image Prevention + Daily Matte Moisturiser SPF 32

Another SPF, but these two are just amazing. I’m an oily skinned gal at heart, so this SPF is an absolute dream. It feels lovely on the skin and sorts out your daily SPF needs. But on top of that, it’s super mattifying, and absorbed oils so your skin is left healthy-looking but shine-free. This is my go to when I’m wearing makeup, because it leaves a fab base. Plus it smells fab too. It’s around the €45 mark, but you can usually find it on offer if you shop around. A little goes a long way so 100% worth it. You can usually get it on offer on millies.ie too, ideal. (AF)

Huda Beauty Legit Lashes

Hands down, my favourite mascara right now. I can already see myself buying it again and again, and again. It’s basically two full-sized mascaras in one. One side is all about the volume, while the other curls and lifts. You can use them separately, or go in with the volume side then go in with lift and curl. I’ve written a full review on it, because it just had to be done. Check that out here.

KVD Vegan Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

I haven’t worn a liquid lipstick in probably about two years-ish. But I’ve been reaching for the KVD Vegan Beauty liquid lipsticks lately and they’ve made me fall back in love with liquid lipstick. They’re easy to apply with the small doe foot applicator, the pigment packs a punch and they last amazingly well. All without being too drying on uncomfortable on your lips. My go to is a dark nude called ‘Hawkwind’ and ‘Outlaw’ is a gorgeous bright red shade. They’re €22, and worth every penny.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer

This is another product I’ve talked about before, but I’m including it here too because it’s just so worth it. It’s basically the same formula as Brow Wiz, only the pencil itself is thicker. The pencil is triangle-shaped and retractable, with a kind of waxy texture that glides through the brows. It’s easy to fill in brows in literally seconds and has the pointed tip at one side so you don’t end up with a bulky arch or blocky brow. On the other end, there’s a little spoolie which is always handy to run through your brows after you fill them in. Your brows stay in place all day, and it’s just gorge. I went for the soft brown shade, and it’s just ideal.

*I received some of these products as press samples, from my actual 9-5 job*
